This two-day (7 hrs) training provides a practical introduction to impact valuation, from understanding key concepts and methods to applying them in real-life cases.
Participants will learn approaches to measuring and valuing social and environmental impacts, and gain hands-on experience in developing a simple implementation case.

Overview of recognized methodologies

Day 2 – Hands-On Practice (4 hours)
Work through a complete impact valuation using the IV Hub Playbook
Choose between a social project (education/water access) or environmental project (energy transition)
Guided exercises covering all seven stages: from framing objectives to applying results
Interactive discussion and Q&A with knowledge partners

With over 15 years of experience across the private and public sectors in Latin America and Europe, Noelia is an economist specializing in impact valuation, impact investing, and stakeholder engagement. As part of Valuing Impact, she supports investors, family offices, and businesses in integrating social and environmental impact into strategic decision-making. She has led and contributed to 30+ social and environmental assessments across industries, and co-authored thought leadership publications on impact valuation. She is also a guest lecturer at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and serves on the Steering Committee of the Impact Valuation Hub, providing capacity building and contributing to knowledge development

Roland van Keeken

Roland is a manager and he leads the Impact Institute’s work for the Impact Investing sector. He has been involved as consultant and project manager in 50+ projects since joining Impact Institute. He believes that impact measurement and management can play an essential role to support the allocation of capital towards solutions for today’s societal challenges. Previously, he worked in Financial Risk Management at Deloitte and Ortec Finance. He holds a MSc in Quantitative Finance from Erasmus University.

Megan leads the Sustainable Finance team. She obtained an MSc in Economics, specialising in Behavioral Economics and Game Theory from the University of Amsterdam. Prior to that, she received a BA in Economics at Rhodes University in South Africa.
